Scholarships

Scholarship Scheme:
We offer students a number of scholarships, awards and bursaries on the basis of academic and non-academic merits.

The University of Tasmania & Universal College of Higher Education Joint Scholarship and Bursary
The University of Tasmania, in collaboration with UCHE, awards a full amount Joint Scholarship and Bursary to two students of Bachelor of Business with outstanding performance in their academic results, attendance records and overall aspects throughout their programmes of study.



Scholarship
We select three of the most outstanding students in their academic performance from each faculty and award them with different amounts of scholarship.


Academic Improvement Award
One student with significant improvement in academic results is also chosen from each faculty in each class.


Best Attendance Award
We also pick three students with the best attendance record from each faculty to receive this award and the amount of the award varies according to their attendance records.


Bursary
A sponsorship is offered to students who have achieved outstanding academic results with financial difficulties.

 
 
Awards
Golden Key International Honour Society
Golden Key International Honour Society is the world's largest collegiate honor society. Membership into the Society is by invitation only and applies to the top 15% of college and university sophomores, juniors and seniors, as well as top-performing graduate students in all fields of study, based solely on their academic achievements. Five graduates of Bachelor of Business at The University of Tasmania received the Golden Key International Honour Society invitation in 2016. Their names are as follows:

Dean's Honour Roll
The assessment criteria of the Dean's Honour Roll for both undergraduate and postgraduate students is based on both programme completion time and academic results. In order to be eligible for the consideration of this nomination or honour, the Grade Point Average (GPA) must be 6.25 or above upon graduation (The full score of GPA is 7). Seventeen graduates of Bachelor of Business at The University of Tasmania have received the Dean's Honour Roll and their names are as follows:
